At The Wilderness Chef, we have the privilege of being a part of countless love stories, each one unique. Christie and Hayden's wedding at the stunning Talm Beach House in Anna Bay on April 3, 2023, was a beautiful day with laid-back vibes, perfect for a beachside celebration.

Talm Beachhouse, located in the picturesque Anna Bay, provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate micro-wedding. The sand, waves, and golden sunset added a touch of magic to the day. Christie and Hayden exchanged vows in a heartwarming ceremony that set the tone for the festivities to come.

For their special day, they chose our three-course banquet package, accompanied by cocktail hour featuring a selection of three mouthwatering canapés.

Cocktail Hour:

The celebrations commenced with a joyful cocktail hour, where guests were treated to three canapés. Each bite was a burst of flavor, setting the mood for the evening ahead:

Portobello Mushroom Arancini, leek, thyme, parmesan & truffle lemon aioli
Teriyaki Glazed Chicken Dumpling, miso mayonnaise, spring onion, radish & soy grains
Harissa Lamb Sausage Roll, hummus, sumac & Hunter Valley feta

Wild Ivory Mobile Bar provided beverage service, serving cocktails to the happy guests. Sophie Claire provided her beautiful acoustic singing to set the atmosphere.

Banquet Main Course:

Following the cocktail hour, guests were seated for the main course—a banquet. The carefully crafted dishes were a testament to our commitment to providing a dining experience like no other.

Christie & Hayden chose the following selections for their menu:

Peri Peri Charred Chicken, mojo verde, radish & puffed rice
Baharat Lamb Rump, ajvar yoghurt & dill
BBQ carrots, harissa, beetroot relish & dukkah
Roma Tomato Tabbouleh, mixed grains, pomegranate, Hunter Valley feta, charred corn, cucumber & spiced almonds
Potato Salad, sun-dried tomato, garden peas, celery, dill & dukkah

Dessert:

Christie and Hayden's wedding featured the cutting and plating of their cake, accompanied by vanilla bean cream and an array of seasonal fruits. It was the perfect finish to an evening filled with love and laughter.

The Wilderness Chef team then packed up, cleaned the kitchen to spotless condition, and left while the guests were dancing under the stars.
